Solar panels earn rental. The rental is paid for by the landlord of the building on which they are installed.
Fedgroup invoices each landlord for the use of these panels. The invoice date depends on the landlord. The invoice then takes time to settle, usually within a two week window. When funds arrive, the income is distributed to each Impact Farmer according to how many panels he/she owns.
You are still earning income from the power generated every day from your panel. It accrues and is then paid out monthly when the landlord pays Fedgroup.
If you pre-buy solar panels and they are not yet installed on a site, you do not earn a monthly income until such time as the panels are in place and generating electricity. You will notified as soon as the panels are installed.
