Why commercial-scale urban solar farms?

When you purchase a panel as part of this initiative, you benefit from economies of scale. The cost of maintenance, insurance, installation and transformers is spread amongst all investors bringing down the costs. You also benefit because all the energy generated is used. In a residential property, energy often goes to waste during the daytime, when demand is often at its lowest. If all the electricity is being used, it means that all of it is being sold, helping you to earn income. 

Who owns the asset? What happens at the end of the term?

You own the physical asset. At the end of the 20-year period, you could take physical ownership of the panel, should you not wish to take advantage of our buy-back offer. We know where your panel is because each asset purchased is assigned an asset number.

At the end of the 20-year period, we will buy back your panel at a guaranteed residual value of R1 000.
