Why are bees important?

There has been a growing awareness globally of the risk to bees. Without bees, flowers do not turn into fruit and vegetables. Without bees pollinating flowers, we have no food. Bees are at risk due to pesticide use on the plants and trees they are helping to pollinate. Our beekeepers actively manage the hives to examine the risk to the bees, checking on the proximity of the hives to farms or to veldt and encouraging farmers to use bee-friendly pesticides. All honey from your hive is fully traceable. Consumers are becoming more sophisticated in their knowledge of the importance of bees and the importance of quality honey. The demand for honey will continue to grow.
